Secret, Mystery, and Hope

What is beyond my shoulder, young brother?
A secret -- a secret I see...beyond the earth's watery cloak.
And of you, my friend -- what is your vision?
I perceive a ray...a ray of hope beneath the moon;
And of you, oh keeper in the middle? How do you see?
I see a mystery -- a mystery that only I know,
And it is hidden from you, oh brothers, for you are not yet strong enough to uphold it.

Peace on Earth

This is our home; we possess it, but created it not.
Nay -- the credit is not ours, but Him who resides above.
Reach for that Light in the veil of darkness, and catch it.
Thank Him for it...for He is the Light in your closet.

Total Eclipse

Lift me up onto your shoulders, so that I can see what is beyond the horizon.
What is watching us beyond that bright circle?
I see an eclipse.....but who made it?
You are the sun, I am the moon, and our shadow is the creation. Our shadow is the eclipse.

Bed of Clouds

Look beyond your vision, and see what your eyes cannot see,
For what do you see? A whisper, a notation, a call?
Those mountains you see are the peak of my imagination,
And three friends speak to those dreams of mine:
Cumulus, Stratus, and Nimbulus.
Those visions you see are not figments; they are my bed of clouds.

The Light of Home

I saw a globe...as bright as the sun.
I reached out to embrace it, and it submitted.
Who sanded this sphere?
"It was I who created this thing," a distant voice answered.
"But it was you who helped bring it to life."
And I remained confused, and yet...understood.

Safe at Home

Grace falls upon a youngster,

Though he does not feel a whisker's touch.

Ice is a blanket; the moon is a way; the water is a bed.

And he does not worry, for he is safe upon his home.

Midnight Silence

The midnight silence veils itself behind the moon,

And the moon knows where its cloak has hidden.

One paw plays upon another, and the ice stays unbroken.

The Father looks down upon His creation, for He knows that it is good.

A Watchful Eye

The moon seeks, and yet it does not find.
A wolf howls to her child, and he responds to her.
The moon seeks, and finds the mother earth.
A distant call is questioned, and peace answers.
Mother and pup are cupped in the hands of God.

Earth Song

I called to the wind, and it heard my whisper.

It carried my hymn to the earth, and it embraced me.

As the wolf howls to the moon, so does my soul,

For as the Lord created the heavens, so do my words create a song.
